Blending abstraction and surrealism, my aim for this collection is to present graceful, poetic images that inspire imagination and contemplation. By removing contextual information, the photographs are designed to pose questions—rather than convey facts—and thus remain open to individual interpretation. I’m looking to achieve an organic aesthetic derived from warm hues and earth tones, while strategically placed accents in pastel colours result in a curiously synthetic appearance. The graphic elements are intended to encourage active eye movement around each picture through the juxtaposition of rigid, formal structures against subtle textures and delicate transparency.
